Hello people. I got the strange urge to come back so I did. I recently bought the game Minecraft; my user name is JDW493. Let's play together sometime.

Judging by those photos, you have a pretty awesome world, YOM2. How long did it take?

I recently had a nice world. but i got bored with it. i took all my valuables and burned them and then i dumped lava onto my house xD
but seriously any even a nice PUBLIC server we can all hang out on?

I have a lot of worlds, and the castle is on a server... the castle took about a week in a survival server, the pixel art took about 10-30 minutes in a creative world I think? oh and Creeper-Face Mountain is still in progress

I tried it, it's a bit complex and confusing. I think I'll stick to my own server~

I got the Xbox version a while back, and it's actually really good. I haven't played recently because I lost 2 diamond shovels, 3 diamond pickaxes, a diamond axe and 6 diamonds along with a full set of silver armor (I dont like to call it iron)

My server works now.

I've been playing quite a bit of Tekkit recently, which comes with the Technic mod pack. It basically combines several mods such as BuildCraft, IndustrialCraft and Equivalent Exchange (there's 41 mods in total). Has anyone ever tried it?

yes I have, I don't really have much though (and Tekkit is just a multiplayer version of tekkit, so singleplayer has no difference )

I didn't know those were in technic...

The Forestry mod was removed from both Tekkit and Technic, as it was the wish of the mod creator. Technic has everything Tekkit has and more. This is because some mods, such as better dungeons and millienaire, are not optimised for multiplayer.

ok, I heard that Tekkit was just a multiplayer version of tekkit, and I didn't realize there were mods missing... that and I never really played technic...

I know that, but when I tried to break as much rules as possible on there, they did NOT ban me!! They put me in a REALLY SLOW MAZE, calling it JAIL.

I think I broke equivalent exchange... (at least in the version they have in the current tekkit) stone and stone slabs are worth 1 EMC each, but it takes 3 stone to make 6 stone slabs, so infinite EMC! A project table and an energy condenser are very helpful in exploiting this (they may have fixed this in a more recent version of Equivalent Exchange) I started out with 4 stone and now I have (I calculated) 3990... kinda broken...
