Does anyone here use BitDefender 2010? Since I have installed it I can't connect my game to the internet. Other than 'game mode' it doesn't have any settings to allow UB Funkeys to connect. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I don't use it but is it the internet security one? If so - I would guess there would be something for exceptions under the firewall. If it is this one - here is some info I found online: http://download.bitdefender.com/resources/media/materials/2010/en/ts/userguide.pdf page 258 seems to start with the firewall settings, looks like a tab for rules under the Expert mode. Page 265 starts with how to add rules. Most firewalls will detect all programs that use the internet or want to access the internet. Creating and modifying rules start on page 267.

Hopefully I got the correct one for your product...if not, let us know and someone can try to help you further on that.

I only have the basic BitDefender Antivirus, it has no firewall. UB Funkeys has already been added to my Windows Firewall exceptions, and I never had a problem with the firewall before I installed the BitDefender.

When we first installed the BitDefender2010 it gave us a lot of problems connecting to the internet, but after doing a system restore it seems to have been working fine, - all apart from the UB Funkeys.

Try going into Expert mode. According to these instructions I found here: http://download.bitdefender.com/resources/media/materials/2010/en/av/userguide.pdf page 172, you should be able to add games to a list that it allows.

If you have tried these options listed there already or maybe don't have all those options they show in the manual - we may have to find another way around it.

I have already added it to the games list. I have also tried manually turning on the game mode, but that doesn't work either.
